Nutrition is one of the most important things you can do to start on your way to good health. Some of my clients have just followed this and have received very good results. 

Almost everyone is nutrient deficient. This is one of the big reasons for the high rate of disease and illnesses. Once you start on a proper regimen of nutrients you will see and feel results almost immediately although for those who are fairly far along in their problem may take time to reap the benefits of proper nutrient intake.

There are biological things that need to happen in your cells before they can perform their tasks. Picture a brand new car, ready to start and go. There is nothing wrong with the car but it won’t start without gas. Your body at a cellular level is the same. It won’t get going unless it has the fuel it needs to start. That fuel is minerals. Not all nutrients are the same. Or should I say multivitamins. Most on the market are no good as they may not contain all the main nutrients your body needs on a daily basis or they won’t be absorbed by the body because of what they are and where they come from. 

For instance; calcium is a mineral. Most calcium on the market, including doctor prescribed, are still in their rock form. This means your body must digest the rock first before it can extract and absorb it. So if you’re taking a 1200 mg tablet you’re not going to get 1200 mg. By the time you digest this you may get about 13% of that 1200 mg. A complete waste of money and no health benefit. 

The nutrients I prescribe are “Colloidal”. This means they are smaller than a blood vessel. That means you can absorb 90 to 99% of the nutrients depending on how your gut is. If your gut is in bad shape you will have to fix that before you can absorb all of any nutrient you take.

What you eat is an integral part of healing and overall health. Most do not know what is in the foods they are eating. There are a lot of foods that are not made for humans to eat. These are causing most of the present day problems, from arthritis to heart disease and cancers. Proper diet is actually easy once you learn and understand what is good for the body and what is destructive to the body. I’ll take you through a few of ways of eating. And yes I have tried all of these ways of eating and am currently on one of them now and plan on staying at this for life. The major foods to get out of your diet are; sugars (there are many foods that fall under this catagory), oils (seed oils, man made oils like margarine), all grains, dairy and any other food you may have a reaction too.

What Is The Paleo Diet?

This way of eating is thought to take us back to the the way cave people would have eaten. Though we don’t know for sure how caveman ate we can speculate and bring it up to date to use in our times. Many people who have tried paleo have had great results with their health. Reversing and even receiving healing from eating this way. I have found with my clients that adding nutrients with a proper diet works twice as well as just proper diet.

A paleo diet typically includes lean meats, fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds — foods that in the past could be obtained by hunting and gathering. A paleo diet limits foods that became common when farming emerged about 10,000 years ago. These foods include dairy products, legumes and grains.

The Paleo diet can help you to lose weight. It is a high protein low carb way of eating. High carbs are like eating sugar so you’ll want to get ride of these types of foods.

Foods to Avoid on the Paleo Diet
  • Sugar and high-fructose corn syrup: Soft drinks, fruit juices, table sugar, candy, pastries, ice cream and many others.
  • Grains: Includes breads and pastas, wheat, spelt, rye, barley, corn, etc.
  • Legumes: Beans, lentils, peanuts, peanut butter and many more.
  • Dairy: Avoid most dairy, especially low-fat (some paleo eaters do include full-fat dairy like butter and cheese, but not milk).
  • Trans fats: Found in margarine’s and various processed foods. Usually referred to as “hydrogenated” or “partially hydrogenated” oils.
  • Artificial sweeteners: Aspartame, sucralose, cyclamates, saccharin, acesulfame potassium. Use natural sweeteners instead.
  • Highly processed foods: Everything labeled “diet” or “low-fat” or that has many additives. Includes artificial meal replacements. The reason is if it is labeled “low-fat” or “diet” they have removed something from the food and added something else to enhance the flavor of what has been removed, such as fats.
Foods to Eat on the Paleo Diet
  • Meat: Beef, lamb, chicken, turkey, pork and most other meats.
  • Fish and seafood: Salmon, trout, haddock, shrimp, shellfish, etc. Choose wild-caught if you can.
  • Eggs: Choose free-range, pastured or omega-3 enriched eggs.
  • Vegetables: Broccoli, kale, peppers, onions, carrots, tomatoes, etc.
  • Fruits: Apples, bananas, oranges, pears, avocados, strawberries, blueberries and more.
  • Tubers: Potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams, turnips, etc.
  • Nuts and seeds: Almonds, macadamia nuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and more.
  • Healthy fats and oils: Extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and animal fats.
  • Salt and spices: Sea salt, garlic, turmeric, rosemary, etc.

What is a Ketogenic Diet?

There are different types or versions of the Keto diet out there. But they all follow the same rule. It is a low carb high fat diet. It involves drastically reducing carbohydrate intake and replacing it with fat. This reduction in carbs will put the body into a metabolic state that is called ketosis. When you reach ketosis, the body becomes incredibly efficient at burning fat for energy. It will also turn fat into what is called ketones in the liver, of which can also supply energy for the brain. Most people have too much sugar in their diet and this is affecting brain function. The brain is 85 % fat. Fat is the main energy source for the brain.   • Fruit: All fruit, except small portions of berries like strawberries.
  • Beans or legumes: Peas, kidney beans, lentils, chickpeas, etc.
  • Root vegetables and tubers: Potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, parsnips, etc. (These digest to sugar)
  • Low-fat or diet products: These are highly processed and often high in carbs.
  • Some condiments or sauces: These often contain sugar and unhealthy fat. (Read Labels)
  • Unhealthy fats: Limit your intake of processed vegetable oils, all seed oils, mayonnaise, etc.
  • Alcohol: Due to their carb content, many alcoholic beverages can throw you out of ketosis.
  • Sugar-free diet foods: These are often high in sugar alcohols, which can affect ketone levels in some cases. These foods also tend to be highly processed.
Foods to Eat
  • Meat: Red meat, steak, ham, sausage, bacon, chicken, wild game and turkey.
  • Fatty fish: Such as salmon, trout, tuna and mackerel. Make sure it is wild caught.
  • Eggs: Look for pastured or omega-3 whole eggs.
  • Butter and cream: Look for grass-fed when possible. Lard or any other animal fat.
  • Cheese: Unprocessed cheese (cheddar, goat, cream, blue or mozzarella).
  • Nuts and seeds: Almonds, walnuts, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, etc.
  • Healthy oils: Extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil and avocado oil.
  • Avocados: Whole avocados or freshly made guacamole.
  • Low-carb veggies: Most green veggies, tomatoes, onions, peppers, etc.
  • Condiments: You can use salt, pepper and various healthy herbs and spices.

Carnivore Diet Results: Why It Works for Some People But ...

Carnivore is an all things meat diet. It includes; All meats, Eggs, All parts of an animal, Meat broths, (some even use dairy such as cheese, butter, ghee, some even milk). Also used is salt as salt is needed to help with keeping the acidity up in the stomach for digestion. Some spices can be used as well, but beware of the carb content of spices. Animal fats are used and saved as these are what is used to cook foods in. A BBQ is also a good investment for this way of eating.

People are having great success with this way of eating. From getting of medications to full healing of many other dysfunctions that people suffer from. Some people will have a hard time with bowel movements. For most people this only lasts a couple weeks tops and then you are having normal bowel movements. But there are some where this may not be the case. For them they may have to keep one thing in their diet from plants to aid in this area. Usually a little extra Magnesium is all that’s needed.

The lymphatic system is a network of tissues and organs that help rid the body of toxins, waste and other unwanted materials. The primary function of the lymphatic system is to transport lymph, a fluid containing infection-fighting white blood cells, throughout the body.

The lymphatic system primarily consists of lymphatic vessels, which are similar to the veins and capillaries of the circulatory system. The vessels are connected to lymph nodes, where the lymph is filtered. The tonsils, adenoids, spleen and thymus are all part of the lymphatic system.
